Chiles Orchestra took the top prize at the 2009 National Orchestra Festival of the American String Teachers Association, in Atlanta, over the March 20th weekend. It is only their second official year of existence and they are already being nationally recognized. Chris Miller, the Orchestra teacher and director, has worked with many of the students first as middle schoolers at Deerlake and then later here at Chiles. We are lucky to have him and them as part of our performing arts program and school.
WolfPAC congratulates Mr. Miller and all of the Orchestra students on such a wonderful achievement. You make us all very proud!
